Sports brand Adidas is officially unveiling new colorways of its hybrid training shoe 'Adizero Dropset Pro'.
The newly released colors following a soft launch in June are 'Solar Turbo' for men and 'Lucid Pink' for women. The shoe was designed with vibrant contrasting colors to enhance athletic focus and engagement.
This product targets those who combine running and strength training to expand their limits. Adidas athletes proved the shoe's technological capabilities by wearing it at the 'HyroxWorld Championship' held in Stockholm in June. The shoe proposes a 'GO FULL HYBRID' concept that handles both 'speed' and 'strength' with a single pair, providing stable performance even during consecutive high-intensity movements from interval running to weighted lunges and wall balls. Through this, it simultaneously satisfies the demands of 'runners lifting barbells' and 'lifters running on tracks'.
The existing core technologies remain unchanged. The ultra-lightweight 'Lightstrike Pro' foam and 'Energy Rods' add propulsion, while 'Continental' rubber and 'Lighttraction' provide firm ground contact.
Meanwhile, Adidas is hosting 'The Hybrid Port' event at Runport Mapo in Seoul on September 4th to commemorate the new color launch. Participants will experience programs focused on strength, endurance, and speed while wearing the product firsthand. Creator Shim Eun-teum and a professional photographer will participate on-site, and a special training session led by Kim Jong-guk will also be held.
