Actor Lee Joon-young has perfectly transformed into a genius pianist, proving his presence despite the gap from his military service.
In tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Four Hands' (directed by Park Hyun-seok / written by Shin Yi-won / produced by Studio Dragon, Studio N, and Namu Actors) that aired on the 29th and 30th, Lee Joon-young played Choi Jung-yo, a former piano prodigy who had abandoned music due to harsh reality. A character with such outstanding talent that he won the Grand Prize at a Junior Concours, but distanced from piano while supporting his livelihood, he carries lingering affection for music.

The broadcast depicted Choi Jung-yo reuniting with Kang Bi-o (Song Kang) after 7 years, and transferring to an art school with help from Yoon Sun-ju (Seo Jae-hee) to sit before a piano again. Despite conflicts with classmates due to environmental differences, he becomes a partner with Kang Bi-o to confront stage fright, succeeds in outdoor busking, and begins musical rapport.
The way Choi Jung-yo faces his fears with Kang Bi-o's help also drew attention. Playing Saint-Saëns' 'Danse Macabre' in a candlelit small auditorium, he confronted his wounds and challenged outdoor busking to draw cheers from the audience. The changes in the two as they began understanding each other through piano added expectations for growth.

Lee Joon-young vividly portrayed an exterior bristling with thorns toward the world through sharp eyes and rebellious tone. In the scene confronting stage fright, he conveyed the character's fear through a stiffened expression, wavering eyes, and quickened breathing.
He naturally completed the appearance of being absorbed in music the moment he placed his hands on the keyboard and enjoying free performance. In scenes of matching with Kang Bi-o, he captured both tense tension and overwhelming joy simultaneously, creating youthful synergy.
'Four Hands' is a work depicting the process of two pianists sitting side by side before one piano completing a single piece of music with four hands. It tells the story of two people who met at a concours in childhood, reuniting after 7 years, confronting their wounds, and growing.
Lee Joon-young, currently serving in the military, is drawing viewers' expectations by delicately expressing Choi Jung-yo's changes and growth. 'Four Hands' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM on tvN.
